Gabriele Severini is officialy certified from the Shri K.Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute of Mysore, India (www.kpjayi.org). 
He has studied from 2002 regularly with Shri K.Pattabhi Jois and his grandson Sharath. Sharath Jois is currently the director of the institute and under his guidance Gabriele has completed the advance A (third series).

He obtained a degree in Physical Education from the University of Rome and begins the practice of Ashtanga Yoga in the 2000, his main teacher in Italy becomes Tina Pizzimenti.
Gabriele has also practiced Vipassana Meditation, he is studying Indian philosophy with M.A Narasimhan, Yoga Sutras and chanting with Dr M.A Jayashree, Sanskrit with Laksmish, in Mysore. He was the director for 10 years of Ashtanga Yoga Roma, currently he lives with his family in Sassari (Sardinia), giving workshops in Italy and worldwide.
